Crafty Merlins has announced today that it will be closing for good on New Years Eve.

This will be a sad loss to the town centre. Over the last few years Craftys has been a CAMRA friendly pub hosting 3 to 4 guest Cask ales alongside a host of regional Keg beers and ciders. It has made the Good Beer Guide for the last 3 years and was joint runner up in last years Darlington POTY competition. It has always had a great atmosphere and you were sure to find branch members there any time of the day or night.

Final last orders will be 8:00pm on New Years Eve.
