• Teesdale Survey Trip Saturday 22 November 2025 12:00 Langdon Beck Hotel

  We are running a surveying trip through Teesdale taking in:
  

  • Langdon Beck Hotel
  • Teesdale Hotel, Middleton-in-Teesdale
  • Blacksmiths Arms, Mickleton
  • Red Lion, Cotherstone
  • Bowes Social Club

  We will leave Darlington centre at 12:00pm, picking up at Aldborough St. John at 12:30pm.
  We will be aiming to return to Adlborough St.John for 7:15pm then back to Darlington for 7:30pm.
  

  Pick ups
  Darlington - Our usual place i.e. behind the Dolphin Centre opposite the Town Hall. Link to location in Google Maps
  Aldborough St. John - The bus stop on the green. Link to location in Google Maps

  Cost will be £15 for CAMRA members and £20 for non-CAMRA members. Payment will need to be made in advance to confirm a place. This can be done by bank transfer to:

• January Committee meeting Wednesday 14 January 2026 19:30 Travellers Rest

  The January Committee meeting will be on Wednesday 14th January, upstairs at The Travellers rest in Cockerton.

• Darlington Town Walk - Hosting Wakefield Branch Saturday 24 January 2026 ORB Micropub

  Wakefield CAMRA are visiting Darlington for a town walk on Saturday 24th January.
  

  Some of our committee members have committed to meeting up and showing them around our real ale pubs. There is an open invite to all CAMRA members to join us. It's a great opportunity to come out and socialise with fellow CAMRA members from another part of the country whilst enjoying some great beer.
  

  We will be meeting at 12:00 in ORB.

• Social Saturday - Northallerton Town Walk Saturday 31 January 2026 13:30 Darlington Train Station

  We have arranged to meet up with members of our neighbouring branch - North West Yorkshire - who will host us for a town walk in Northallerton.
  

  We will aim to meet at 13:30 in a pub we will confirm shortly, taking in, at the very least:
  The Oddfellows Arms
  The Buck Inn
  Stumble Inn
  

  There are regular train services from Darlington, the best option being the 12:58.
  

  There is also a Hodgsons Bus service No. 72 that takes 52 mins from Market Square to Northallerton High Street and runs every 2 hours from Stand M. The best options are 11:03am or 1:03pm.
