Seven miles south east of Darlington, off the Northallerton road (B1264). This pleasant gleaming whitewashed, red-roofed freehouse overlooking the green and village pump in this small, quiet village. Neat and stylish, with a linked lounge, snug, little beamed bar and dining room. An excellent variety of home cooked and a la carte food evenings (tuesday-sunday) accompanied by well kept beers.
