A few of bits of info for our trip on Saturday:

As this is a Surveying trip, Darlington CAMRA members will be expected to actively survey the pubs which is used in consideration for the Good Beer Guide. We will provide a simple-to-follow sheet that requires a few comments in each pub\club that we will collect in at the end.

The last two stops on our trip do not serve food, other than bar snacks. Also they are not located conveniently to any food outlets so bringing your own sandwiches might be an option.

It is fantastic that we have sold out a 30-seater bus. However, please be aware that most of the pubs we are visiting are relatively small and may only have a single member of staff, so please be patient and courteous when we are inevitably queueing for our drinks.

The branch still has some copies of the 2026 Good Beer Guide that are for sale to CAMRA members at the discounted price of £13. Non-CAMRA Members can purchase one for £16. If you are interested, please let me know beforehand. chair@darlo.camra.org.uk

Finally, we will do our best to stick to a timetable that means we are not rushed in each pub whilst trying to meet the return times. However we cannot guarantee we will be back exactly when advertised so please factor that in if arranging pick ups or forward travel.
