AGM 2026
The 2026 AGM will be held on Saturday 9th May at Vesuvio Wines, Houndgate, Darlington. 1:00pm
As per the CAMRA Model Constitution which the branch follows, the business to be conducted at the AGM shall include:
- The approval of the examined accounts of the Branch.
- The election of officers and other essential and agreed discretionary roles (see below).
- The appointment of an examiner of accounts.
The Darlington branch committee will be made up of the following
roles:
- Chairman
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Accounts Examiner
- Pub Data Coordinator (formerly Pubs Officer)
- Pub Protection Officer
- Clubs Officer
- Cider Officer
- Membership Officer
- Young Persons Officer
- Beer Festival Organizer
- Media Contact inc. Social Media management
- Public Affairs Officer
- Social Secretary

Nominations
Nominations for posts on the committee are preferred to be in writing, signed by a proposer and seconder, both of whom shall be members of the Branch, and accompanied by evidence of the willingness of the nominee to stand.
Nominations and confirmation of the willingness of the nominee to stand may be sent electronically by individual emails rather than signed.
